Fall Series Online Shows

Fall Series 2020 is now over.

VIMFF 2021 | February 19 – 28 / 2021

Join us virtually to enjoy 50+ films, 3 interactive workshops, 3 engaging panel discussions and discover new documentaries about climbing, snowsports, the environment, mountain culture and adventure and more! We’ll also be hosting online workshops with top experts in their field. This February, connect with our outdoor community & don’t miss this inspirational line-up of films.

The virtual 2020 Fall Series featured five adventure packed shows from November 20-29, 2020.

We featured new film and presentation content about climbing, snowsports, the environment and mountain culture. There were world film premieres and bonus content from filmmakers. We were thrilled to partner with Colour the Trails to offer a unique panel discussion and a curated selection of engaging films. We hope you were inspired and entertained and we enjoyed connecting with you virtually.

The Snowsports Show

In partnership with Protect our Winters

This fundraiser for POW features five entertaining films. It includes the world premieres of Frozen In Time, Motherload, and Without a Paddle, with the festival premiere of Katie Burrell's new film Coach.

The Climbing Show

Showcases five unique films that feature young and seasoned climbers, in nearby and the faraway islands of Baffin and Makatea; while sharing stories of friendship, adversity and adventure.

Environmental Show

In partnership with the David Suzuki Foundation

Presents four films, including the world premiere of Forever is Now. These films travel to Norway, Russia, and Zion National Park.

Mountain Culture Show

Hosts the world premieres of My Horse My Destiny and Last Tracks, and tells the incredible stories about the Celestrial Mountains of Kyrgyzstan, the indigenous people in the Peruvian Andes and connects us to the Himalayas.

Colour The Trails Show

& Panel Discussion Presented by Liv Cycling

We are thrilled to partner with Colour the Trails and showcase five incredible films about diversity in the outdoors, while hosting a live panel discussion on November 25 with founder Judith Kasiama.
