Chris Hill is an environmental lobbyist and angler based in Haines, Alaska. This film follows Hill’s powerful connection with the wilderness and shares how she’s inspiring other people of colour to create a community of belonging in the outdoors.
Chris is a filmmaker based in Portland, OR. Originally from rural Washington State, he moved to California to study film production at Chapman University’s Dodge College of Film. With ten years of experience shooting, directing, and editing short non-fiction content, he has a unique understanding of the process. His extensive documentary background makes him comfortable working with small crews in remote locations: from California’s redwood canopy to the Andean peaks of Argentina, and many small towns in between. A recovering introvert, non-fiction filmmaking has opened Chris’ world up considerably. Having the privilege to meet and connect with humans from across the world has been one of his life’s great joys.
