Candace Campo is a trained anthropologist - teacher, she started Talaysay Tours in 2002 and provides Indigenous, cultural and outdoor experiences and events. Candace is part of the thought-provoking panel discussion centered on community building, personal experiences, and the profound impact that outdoor recreation has on Indigenous identities.
Cassie Ayoungman is the founder of Soul of Miistaki, a non-profit that shares her passion for exploring beautiful and sacred lands with her community. Cassie is part of the thought-provoking panel discussion centered on community building, personal experiences, and the profound impact that outdoor recreation has on Indigenous identities.
Melissa Arnott’s desire to contribute to and be part of community led her to Indigenous Women Outdoors where she has supported the trail running, harvesting, snowshoeing, and mountain biking programs. Melissa is part of the thought-provoking panel discussion centered on community building, personal experiences, and the profound impact that outdoor recreation has on Indigenous identities.
Sandy Ward is a founding member of Indigenous Women Outdoors. She has spent most of her life on snow as a competitive halfpipe rider, First Nations Snowboard Team coach and now lead of the IWO Backcountry Mentorship Program. Sandy is part of the thought-provoking panel discussion centered on community building, personal experiences, and the profound impact that outdoor recreation has on Indigenous identities.
