An aging climber, Mike Adair, is restoring a forgotten boulder field. Meanwhile, he’s restoring his old climbing chops and proving he can still set the hardest routes around.
Welcome to Sand Rock, Alabama. This is the home crag of many climbers in the Southeastern United States, including Mike Adair. Trash Panda is a snapshot of his life and his passion for climbing.

Ian works full time as a Theatre Designer and Yoga Teacher. Within Topout TV he is able to combine his creative projects with his love of management… which more or less means he sends emails and tells Dave to edit faster. But he also gets to make connections with great communities and greater mountains. In his free time he goes climbing, reads books, and chases cars. His favorite books are Dune, The Stormlight Archives, and An Autobiography of a Yogi. His favorite tree is the Baker Cypress and his favorite creature is a raccoon or a coyote, hard to decide.
Dave is a freelance videographer and business owner. He’s been honing his craft for 10 years and is stoked to bring those skills to the crag. “Combining rock climbing with video has been a game changer for me,” he says. “It’s fun, but it’s also pushing me to grow creatively and professionally in a whole new way.” Dave is dedicated to telling great stories, capturing cool moments, and honoring the people and places they come across in their filming adventures.
