Alpenbock tells the story of the first ascensionists who climbed the cliffs of Little Cottonwood Canyon in northern Utah, and the group they formed — The Alpenbock Club. It’s a story of passion, grit, culture, and climbing ethics that honors the rich history and enduring spirit of rock climbing in Utah and beyond.
Though climbing has evolved and continues to grow, the routes and the passion for where we climb remain the same. We have a challenge and responsibility to preserve and protect these iconic climbing landscapes, rich with historical value. These rocks represent more than just climbing, they’re our legacy.
