Scot Proudfoot is a filmmaker based in Kimberley, British Columbia, with over two decades of experience behind the camera. Beginning his career as a commercial and documentary cinematographer, Scot has spent 20 years honing his visual storytelling craft across diverse formats and environments.
In recent years, Scot has expanded his creative toolkit to include directing and editing, allowing him to engage with every aspect of the filmmaking process. His approach is rooted in a deep belief that story comes first, whether capturing raw, real life moments or shaping a scripted narrative.
Driven by a passion for collaboration, Scot thrives in the collective energy that filmmaking demands. For him, the power of the medium lies in its ability to bring people together to tell meaningful, emotionally resonant stories.
