Being a pro climber means more than climbing hard — it means turning your life into content, your solitude into a story, your freedom into a franchise.
Siebe Vanhee sets out to onsight Voie Petit, a brutal 12-pitch 8a+ line at 3,500 metres on the Grand Capucin, completely alone — no partner, no static ropes, just lead rope solo technique and a drone circling above. But even a solo mission as a professional climber has a crew: a manager on the phone, a sponsor waiting for footage, a director on the glacier, and Vanhee himself playing climber, cameraman, and storyteller all at once, selfie-interviewing his own exhaustion pitch by pitch.
Two days of melting shoes, blown attempts, a lonely bivy under the stars, and a hard-won summit — followed, days later, by climbing it all again just to get the shot.

Siebe is first of all a professional climber, known in the climbing community for his ability to climb on his maximum limit on the hardest big walls and in the most uncomfortable environments. He will perform his hardest climbing grades on a big wall, in the cold and if some storm is rolling in, he climbs even better. Mentally he’s the strongest in environments where others have a difficulty to stay motivated and keep climbing. The combination of adventure, out of comfort and heady, hard climbing is what he is searching for. Second, Siebe is a sincere storyteller and loves to work closely with filmmakers, directors and editors who follow him on and after his adventures. Sharing honest and vulnerable reality is what drives him in storytelling.
Bernardo started shooting full time in 1997, first as a photojournalist for editorial media. In 2002 he decided to combine his passions for mountain sports, expeditions, travel and photography into a freelance business. Since then, Bernardo has been a renown photographer and video maker in the outdoor and climbing community. He made great success with the movie ‘Silence’ capturing the story of world’s first 9c by Adam Ondra.
