Adam Nawrot is a filmmaker primarily working in non-fiction. He is drawn to stories that balance thinking and feeling, challenge their audiences, and are honest about the ambiguity and complexity of our world. His first feature, Godspeed, Los Polacos!, investigates the fall of the Soviet Union through the lens of a clandestine whitewater kayaking expedition. The Shackleton Row is his second film of length. In his latest creative endeavor, Adam is working on a site-specific interactive narrative film installation about the turning point of the Revolutionary War. When he’s not deep in the edit cave or obsessing over how to most efficiently pack a Pelican case, you can find him down the trail, in the river, or on belay.
