Centennial Theatre

How to Get Here

  • Parking: Onsite parking at the Centennial Theatre is closed to allow for construction of the new Harry Jerome Community Recreation Centre. A limited number of parking spots are available at North Shore Alliance Church and other areas nearby. See map for details.
  • There is also some street parking available on 23rd St and neighbouring streets. Please consider walking, cycling, taking transit or carpooling to this event and plan to arrive early.

How to Get Here

  • They don’t call it the “Evergreen Line” for nothing! When the SkyTrain extension was completed in 2016, the last stop on the Evergreen Line was built right on our parking lot. Our building is just 150 steps away from the Station (we’ve counted). Just look for the red roof! There is also a complex network of busses that are available at the station, and , all roads lead to the Evergreen. Plan your travel route by visiting TRANSLINK‘s website.
  • Parking Information: There are two parking lots at Evergreen; one at the front and one at the back. Access these parking lots by travelling north on Pinetree Way, and look for the entrance on the right just after crossing Guildford Way.
  • Our parking lots are owned and operated by the City of Coquitlam. Paid parking is in effect Monday – Saturday, 8am – 6pm. The fee is $1.00/hour. Parking is free on Sundays and statutory holidays.
  • PAY FOR PARKING | Parkedin Parking App The City uses the Parkedin app at their paid parking lots. Howe Sound Brewing – Squamish

  • Patrons under 19 years old are allowed to attend with a parent or guardian and must leave by 9pm.
  • Full drink menu and limited food menu (appies & pizza’s) is available.
  • The venue will remain open after the VIMFF event, and audience members are welcome to stay for food and drinks.

  • Please note that the Howe Sound Brewing is a brew pub, and a more casual viewing experience. There will be food and drink served to tables throughout the program, and multiple screens and TVs for viewing the films.

  • Howe Sound Brewing is located in Squamish. If you are coming from Vancouver, take the BC-99 and turn left into Downtown Squamish on Cleveland Ave. The venue is on the corner of Cleveland Ave. and Vancouver St. on the right hand side.

Kay Meek Arts Centre

  • Our concession is located on the Grosvenor Theatre level, and is open during most performances starting 1 hour prior to the event and during intermission. We serve a variety of snacks and soft drinks, as well as beer, wine, coffee, and tea. We do not serve meal options or hot food.
  • No outdoor food or drink is permitted inside the theatre.

How to Get Here

  • The Kay Meek Arts Centre is located at 1700 Mathers Avenue, beside West Vancouver Secondary School. The closest bus stops are served by routes 251, 252, and 257.
  • Street parking is currently available on Mathers Avenue. Please be mindful of parking bylaws as posted.
  • Access to the school parking lot located on the west side of the school off Mathers Avenue is available on evenings and weekends only.
  • INGLEWOOD PARKING LOT Both the upper parking lot, directly across from the field and the lower lot are now open to all vehicles.
  • The pull in area in front our Mathers Avenue entrance will remain as the designated accessible parking area. More information here.

How to Get Here

  • This venue is near public transport. Numerous bus routes stop along the 1100 block of Granville Street, including #4, #6, #10, #14, and #50. Get off between Helmcken and Davie on Granville and walk one block west. You’ll see us on Howe Street.
  • If you’re coming by car, you will find on-street pay parking on all of the streets surrounding our theatre, as well as parking lots in the Holiday Inn (1110 Howe Street) across the street.
