Want to enjoy some of this year’s top outdoor adventure films? Brand new for 2018, VIMFF ‘Best of’ shows are stacked with back-to-back, award-winning films.

These shows will be screening across Metro Vancouver during the festival, giving you a chance to see some of the best films at a venue closest to you.

Best of: Backcountry Ski

A selection of films on self-propelled ski touring and ski mountaineering.

Featuring a search for happiness in the Swedish mountains, a new world record of human-powered vertical feet in the backcountry, Utah’s most difficult lines, splitboarding in the Altai mountains of Mongolia, and skiing in “the mountain range of the Gods” in Greece.
