A mission to tell the stories of women using sport to transform the world around them. After completing the TOR330 race four times, Stephanie Case’s next goal in sight was the TOR450, all while working behind the scenes to organize an all-women expedition in Afghanistan with Free to Run. These women include Zeinab and Zahra, who represent not only Free to Run’s ethos but the spirit of many other women in Afghanistan who believe in education and progress.

Carrie is the owner and director at Dream Lens Media, a company she started with her husband after her stint as a reporter, producer and anchor at an award winning broadcast news station. She puts her journalism background to work producing and directing stories at the intersection of human justice and outdoor adventure. While you’ll find her researching story concepts and building out all the pre production elements of the films she directs, she’s just as passionate about running through the mountains with a camera in hand. She’s worked with some of the top ultra runners in the world creating films for brands like The North Face and Outside TV. Her short films for Outside TV contributed to the series earning a Sports Emmy nomination in 2021. Her mission and vision through film is to create content that moves viewers to action.
Tim is co-owner and co-director at Dream Lens Media. A United States Marine Corp Veteran,
Tim puts his military background to use working in challenging terrains to capture content for his and Carrie’s film projects. He is an FAA certified sUAS drone pilot and principal gimbal camera operator for Dream Lens. While he brings the entrepreneurial, business background to their partnership, he is also a keen storyteller and guides the narrative development from film conceptualization to the big screen. From their Outside TV short films to their work with Free to Run for The North Face, Tim pours his creative and calculated mind into each film project.
Together, Tim and Carrie live and breathe their film projects and carry their passion to make a difference through film into each project they work on.
