A team of Indigenous and settler artists race to capture a disappearing landscape, as climate change threatens the future of glacial environments in the Canadian Rockies.
Caroline Hedin is a director, producer, and science communicator driven to tell stories of discovery and culture on the leading edge of conservation. Her work as a storyteller explores human connections to the land in ways that elevate underserved perspectives and have a tangible positive impact. Her recent work includes a five-part web series documenting the efforts to reintroduce bison to the backcountry of Banff National Park which garnered a Travel Alberta award. Her first documentary, Rockies Repeat (2021) examines the cultural impacts of climate change in the Canadian Rockies, was awarded the Alpine Club of Canada's Environment Fund grant and premiered at the 2021 Banff Mountain Film Festival. She is a Jackson Wild Fellow and alumna of the Banff Mountain Film Adventure Filmmaker Residency.
