Brothers Matthias and Jakob are abruptly awakened one morning in the Dolomites. In the hours that follow, they encounter unexpected conflicts and annoyances that mysteriously make their faces flush red.
Gradually, they realize they are afflicted by a strange psychological illness that, if left untreated, can lead to death in a short time. In their grandfather’s old medical book, they find clues on how to treat the disease. They learn of ‘The Red Face Zone’, the steepest and narrowest lines in the Dolomites, which they must descend to find relief and healing. Without hesitation, they set out to take their fate into their own hands.
