However, adventure comes with risk and, whether day hiking in the North Shore mountains or on a 7-day paddle in Desolation Sound, responsible adventurers are always prepared for accident or injury.

Through the use of video, photography and public speaking, founders Brent Seal and James Frystak are exploring the parallels between climbing mountains and climbing out of mental health struggles. Jessa Gilbert has had a busy few months: completed a 2,400 & 600 sq ft mural, several live paintings (including at VIMFF this week!), selling new art pieces, prepping for multiple presentations (including at VIMFF tonight!), and guiding at the BaldFace lodge. Having been inspired by VIMFF in past years, Kristina Engel and her friends embarked on a 7 day SUP tour of the Broken Islands off the coast of Vancouver Island. They had some amazing experiences and will be sharing it on Sat, Feb 11 at the Rio Theatre!
