Christopher Logan (aka Logan, Logan Logan)
Christopher Logan (or just Logan) is a splitboard mountaineer living in Golden BC. He enjoys the beauty and challenge of riding new and less visited lines in his home ranges: the Selkirks, Purcells, and Rocky Mountains. When conditions shift northward, you’ll find Logan searching out dreamy Alaskan spines to shred. He combines surf inspired riding with an eye for the aesthetic, obscure, and the exposed. He has multiple first ski and snowboard descents to his name across North and now South America.
For ski and snowboard mountaineers Christopher Logan and Matt Ruta, the mountains aren’t about summits, they’re about the line. From committing ski descents in the Canadian Rockies to wind-scoured faces and towering spines in Patagonia, their partnership has been forged by long approaches, human-powered ascents, and steep terrain where mistakes are not easily forgiven.
